About The Shop

Bicycle Express is a full service bicycle shop located in downtown San Jose only a few blocks southwest of San Jose State University. Owned and operated by Charles "Chuck" Clifford, the shop services contemporary and "classic" bicycles of all shapes and sizes including folding bicycles. Bicycle Express also carries common parts and accessories in demand for past and current bicycles. If a part or accessory is not in stock the shop will be happy to locate the item and order it for you.

Directions to the Shop

From anywhere in the San Francisco Bay Area take Highways 17, 87, 280, 680, 880 or US 101 to the general vicinity of downtown San Jose. Once in the vicinity of downtown San Jose, you will want to locate South 4th Street, South 7th Street or East William Street. Once you have located either of those streets you are only a few blocks away. Most visitors take South 4th Street from downtown southbound until they arrive at East William Street where they then take a right turn. Bicycle Express is located on the corner of South 4th Street and East William Street.

Shop Business Hours

Bicycle Express is normally open from late morning until late afternoon Monday through Saturday. Rarely is the shop open on Sunday, and usually by appointment. Oftentimes, when working past normal business hours, the door will be open for inquiries, sales and service.
