Fifth Boss - A Big Giant Squid - DPS Check
We start with PHASE ONE on an island...
- 1 Tank, 2 DPS and 1 Heals for each TENTACLE
- Tank and DPS are next to tentacles.
- Healers stay back about 20m to draw spit.
- Healers sidestep as needed to dodge spit.
- DPS must burn big adds from behind ASAP.
- After a set of tentacles are burned down, BABIES spawn from under boss.
- STAY CLEAR OF BABIES, LET THEM RUN TO THE WATER!!!
- Rinse, repeat, for three rounds of tentacles.
- ...then auto transport to PHASE TWO.
After getting auto-transported to alien heaven in the sky...
...PHASE TWO starts at the entryway to a platform area.
- Healers stay at the entrance. HEALERS HAVE SUPER DUPER LONG RANGE!!!
- Tanks get the first set of platforms just inside entrance.
- DPS must split up in pairs and go to the platforms with TENTACLES.
- DPS burns the tentacles.
- Tanks tank the boss - TANKS MUST TAUNT OFF EACH OTHER ON "SCREAM".
- Tanks can jump sideways to adjacent platform to dodge spit.
When tentacles are burned down, ORBs appear. These must be burnt ASAP!!!
One HEALER can help the tanks if necessary. Otherwise, just heal...
...then it is round two.
This time, the tentacles will be further back.
Once again, the orbs come out. Burn those ORBs ASAP!!!
Surviving this round of ORBs practically guarantees a win...
Then we have a final round of tentacles...just burn those tentacles down.
After we burn the final set of tentacles down, SHORTLY AFTER, it will be
announced that the boss has gone into a Tantrum. BURN THAT BOSS!!!
